Examine the type of policies which are designed for he accommodation and facilitation of collective activities pursued on the part of identity based groups and which imply special treatment and encouragement while considering them under the generic term of ‘policies of non-territorial autonomy’.
Task: Exploring legal and political arrangements for NTA, current practices, on an international, regional and national level; setting the methodology for assessment, measuring the effectiveness of NTA arrangements, their success in maintaining peace and order; and considering their chances in maintaining stability in multi-ethnic societies.
