Mora-Luna: “The STSM at the Faculty of Education, University of Barcelona (UB), offered me to know first-hand the Catalan educational situation, in particular the treatment of the two official languages and their respective literatures in classrooms, as well as to understand how literature in compulsory education contributes to the constitution of national identities – Spanish identity and Catalan identity in Catalonia. The experience lived during the four weeks of this STSM reinforces the knowledge and research network between the FB Faculty of Education and the Institute of Education (University of Lisbon). It will help draw up new opportunities for collaboration and dialogue between the two institutions. This STSM is the beginning of a research on Catalonia which will continue to develop in the coming years in the framework of ENTAN.”
