ENTAN Forum: Non-Territorial Autonomy From Concept to Policy

The European Non-Territorial Autonomy Network (ENTAN, www.entan.org) is an interdisciplinary action funded by COST (www.cost.eu) since 2019 which aims at examining the concept of non-territorial autonomy (NTA). The main objective has been to investigate the existing NTA mechanisms and policies and to develop new modalities for the accommodation of differences in the context of growing challenges stemming from globalisation, regionalisation and European supranational integration. During the last five years a wide ranged programme consisting of four conferences, several working groups meetings, three training schools, many scientific missions and numerous publications has been realised by more than 150 scholars from 36 countries.
The final ENTAN networking, discussion and dissemination event will be held on 24 May 2023 at the University of Zürich in the form of a one-day forum.

Entitled «Non-Territorial Autonomy: From Concept to Policy», this event will gather scholars, minority representatives, policy makers and practitioners to explore various aspects, the potential and examples of NTA, as documented and examined by the network. The Forum will include several panels and round tables to exchange views on the achievements of ENTAN and to identify possible ways for NTA applications by policy makers.

Whether you are an academic, policy maker, or member of a minority group interested in NTA, we welcome you to join us at this important Forum in Zürich!
