For a while, I had been looking for an opportunity to join an intellectual community whose mission is, among other things, to enhance interdisciplinary and intercultural research in this field. Although the time I spent at the University of Vienna was relatively short —essentially three weeks—it proved to be incredibly productive, because I could focus on research and writing exclusively.”
