Triin Tark: “The aim of this STSM was to expand my knowledge of formal ethnic categorisation in historical cases of implementation of non-territorial autonomy. It was a great opportunity to stay several weeks at the University of Vienna and work together with one of the leading research teams on the idea and practice of non-territorial autonomy. In addition to developing my own research topics, I was able to participate in inspiring team meetings during the stay and contribute to the mutual transfer of knowledge. The everyday atmosphere inside the NTA team and at the university created a fantastic environment for working on the complex topic about ethnic categorisation and non-territorial autonomy as well as for generating new ideas for future research”.
