Yaşar Selman Gültekin: “I attended to the International Aegean Symposium on Social Sciences & Humanities-IV on 11-12 September 2021 in İzmir, Turkey. I presented my research paper “Evaluation of the 19-th Century Caucasian Migration Effects in the Context of ‘Cultural Identity’: The Example of Köprübaşi Ömer Efendi Village” in the oral presentation session of the symposium on September 11. The conference was well organised and using precautions against the COVID-19 pandemic. The measures were very well planned out and were applied by the participants. I also had an opportunity to see İzmir and the cultural areas of the city such as the iconic clock tower, pier and got to know this region’s culture. The Symposium Proceedings will be published on the symposium’s website. I am grateful to have this opportunity by Cost Action CA18114 – ENTAN. I also offered participants to follow www.entan.org website.”
