Olena Palko: “During my STSM at the University of Vienna, I intended to expand my knowledge of the history and theory of non-territorial autonomy and present my own research project that deals with some of the hidden aspects of non-territorial autonomy as implemented in interwar Ukraine. This STSM provided me with an excellent opportunity to come to Vienna and join a great research team under the leadership of Boerries Kuzmany. Apart from presenting my own research, I greatly enjoyed discussing the ongoing projects undertaken by the team members and I am looking forward to presenting my work to the team again in the near future.
