Anna Adorjani: “The main aim of my stay in Budapest was to collect archival material for the third chapter of my dissertation, titled ‘Theoretical and practical experiments with non-territorial autonomy (NTA) in Hungary in
1918-19.’ I managed to go through the most of the sources and I took notes and categorized the documents based on their topic. I made digital copies of some of the documents to enable deeper investigation at a later stage of the research. Another important goal was to discuss my findings and my previous chapters with senior scholars and peers. After the months of lockdown and travel restrictions I found the exchange about the specific aspects of my broader dissertation project very refreshing and inspiring. The STSM helped me to overcome the setback in my research project that the pandemic caused.”
